Here’s What The Most Successful People in the World … All Have in Common
What would you say is the biggest reason people fail in business?
Is it the lack of capital?
Or the wrong network?
Lack of knowledge?
What do you think? Those are some of the more common reasons people point to as reasons for failure … and a good case could be made for each, right?
But take a look at some of the most powerful, effective, and successful people in the world. A lot of them didn’t start out with a lot of time, money, assets, or a glowing pedigree.
Steve jobs got started in a garage.
Henry Ford’s early businesses failed and left him broke 5 times before he founded the Ford Motor Company.
Colonel Sanders, who founded Kentucky Fried Chicken, was a senior citizen on social security before he decided to launch KFC.
Instant hit, right?
Not quite. Get this … his famous chicken recipe was rejected 1,009 times before a restaurant finally accepted it!
You see, these business titans certainly didn’t have a ton of resources at their disposal, but they did have the one thing that is probably the biggest success factor of them all – RESOURCEFULNESS.
I remember hearing a story about Henry Ford who was brought into a Senate hearing where they were trying to prove his incompetence …
How? By asking him tough, trivia-like questions that tested his ‘knowledge’.
He got all the answers right, but it certainly wasn’t because he was a master at trivia. So how did he do it?
By prompting and getting the info from the right person on his staff that he knew would know the answer.
Now that’s resourceful!
Of course, he was chastised by the panel for this approach, but his response was classic. He said:
“Sir … I don’t fill my brain with useless clutter like the information you’re asking. That’s why I hire educated people like yourself … who make it their business to know that type of information. I use my brain for thinking!”
Or something like that.
So how about you when it comes to your real estate investing business?
What’s holding you back from getting started? Or from going to the next level?
Not enough money?
Don’t know how to find good deals?
Been there, done that. And at one point … all at the same time!
If that’s what’s keeping you stuck right now, the good news is … NONE OF THAT MATTERS.
Basically, my core message, and everything I teach and preach, can be summed up by one of my all-time favorite quotes by Tony Robbins, who said …
“It’s not your resources that determine your success … it’s your resourcefulness!”
